Carlos Cardenas

Founder of Valley Homes Academy

Carlos Cardenas is a proud husband and father of three, originally from Salinas, California. After years of hard work, he moved his family to the Central Valley, where they built their home and future in Visalia, California.

Carlos began his journey in phone sales, learning early on the power of communication, consistency, and the art of connecting with people. Through dedication and persistence, he climbed the ladder in sales and eventually transitioned into real estate, where his passion for helping others truly took off.

Over time, he helped hundreds of families buy and sell homes, building lasting relationships and becoming a trusted name throughout the Central Valley. But as he grew in experience, Carlos realized there was more opportunity beyond traditional real estate — and that’s where his investment journey began.

He began buying, fixing, and flipping homes, gaining firsthand experience in what it takes to succeed in the investment side of the business. But along the way, he noticed a problem:
Too many “gurus” were teaching real estate theory — selling expensive courses — yet leaving students to figure it out on their own.

Carlos wanted to create something different — something real.
